Our grades for FT employees have assigned steps (2.5% apart). Employees are eligible each year for an in-grade step increase upon successful completion of their performance review.
Our PT employee grades don't have assigned steps, but they are eligible for the same in-grade increase, which is applied as a percentage (as opposed to a step) at 2.5.
We also allow department heads to provide off-cycle in-grade pay increases up to the midpoint of the range at their discretion.
