Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

PSHRA Utah collects information about you when you establish an account, sign up for a membership, or register for an event. Information is also collected when you voluntarily complete surveys, provide feedback, download content, or participate in the forums. Website use information is collected using cookies.

The PSHRA Utah website uses various forms and methods to make it convenient for you to request information, register for events, chat or post messages, or for us to contact you. This requires that you provide contact information, including your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and/or credit card information.

How is your information protected?

We employ various methods to protect your personal information. Submitted information is transferred using industry standard encryption. PSHRA Utah’s Board members and other designated administrative users have access to your personal information for the purpose of managing the organization. Financial information, including credit card numbers, is collected and transferred, but not stored within the website.

Do we use cookies?

The PSHRA Utah website uses cookies, small files saved to your web browser, in order to improve your user experience. Cookies can be disabled within your browser. Cookies may be used to measure website activity and to customize the website to your preferences. When you return to pshrautah.org, information can be tailored to improve your user experience.

Third-parties applications

PSHRA Utah will engage and contract with third-party companies (e.g., service providers) to provide services that help us with our business activities, such as cloud hosting services. These third-party service providers are limited to only using information as instructed to provide contracted services to the chapter.


PSHRA Utah uses Wild Apricot as a host for all it's web related activities. Wild Apricot follows industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving member and nonmember data exchanged with our site. Appropriate security measures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you.


Wild Apricot follows and is compliant with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security standards to protect you while you shop at pshrautah.org and uses the industry standard in secure server software. All of your personal information, including your credit card number and course transcripts, is encrypted before it is sent across the Internet.

Sharing Your Information

If you have given consent, we will pass your personal information to our vendors and partners so they may offer you their products and services. For example, PSHRA Utah Chapter may share your personal information with exhibitors and sponsors of a PSHRA conference, webinar or other similar event that you attend. PSHRA Utah Chapter will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside our network of partners and vendors.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

The PSHRA Utah Chapter regularly reviews this Privacy Policy and reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon posting. We also will post a notice that this Privacy Policy has changed. By using our website, you acknowledge that you agree to the PSHRA Privacy Policy Statement. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our site.
