Legislative awareness and advocacy

Please join us for our upcoming Professional Development Lunch on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Understanding the legislative process and the impact pending employment and labor-related legislation can have on public sector agencies can assist you in becoming an effective advocate for your organization. Come learn, share, and explore  what you can do to better assist your organization in meeting the challenge of current legislative issues.

Jason Perry, University of Utah VP Government Relations and Director of Hinckley Institute of Politics 

Kami Perkins, Tooele City Human Resources Director

Event Start/End Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Cost: $0 Members (IPMA-HR Utah Membership is $125) or $30 for the event if you are not already a member. If you are not a member but would like to join and get the event for free, Click Here to Join first and then register for the event. 

Parking is available in the garage under the city library (across the street from City Hall).  Drive into the 400 South parking garage entrance (between 200 East and 300 East). Walk across the street to City Hall.  Human Resources is in the basement / 1st floor and will validate parking.
