We do the same; allow the employee to use their leave time to bridge the gap. It's worked really well for us. Happy to share more about the practice if you'd like to discuss further.
We will allow an employee to use leave to make up 10% of their wages.
I'm looking for agency's workers compensation policies. I'm specifically looking for what cities do with the gap that workers compensation doesn't cover.
